Change document type

Change document type is the Destination that sends a copy of the document to another of your document types, which processes it from the start.

It is useful when a document type receives different kinds of documents and one of its properties tells which document type each of them belongs to.

In Property that contains the name of the document type choose that property: its value must be the name of the target document type, regardless of upper and lower case.

AIDA uploads the copy to the target document type through its Web Input, which must be enabled. The original document stays in its document type, and its history links to the copy.

If the property has no value, or none of your document types has that name, AIDA does not send the document and reports the error.
