E-Mail

E-Mail is the Destination that allows you to send the analysed document via e-mail.

In addition to the analysed document, AIDA also sends the extracted properties to the recipient.

AIDA, when creating the email to be sent, inserts all the properties and their values extracted in a table into the body of the email. At the same time it inserts two attachments: the analysed document (transformed into pdf) and an xml file containing the extracted properties.

Within this page you can configure:

General options

In this section you can configure:

Name

It is useful to customise the name in case it is necessary to create several E-Mail destinations for the same type of document.

Module Options

In this section we can configure:

Recipient address mode

Here you can choose three different ways of entering the e-mail address:

  • Fixed (user-defined): the e-mail address once set will remain fixed.
  • Dynamic (name only): AIDA will make you select the property to be used to value the user name. The domain on the other hand once set will be static and fixed for each user name.
  • Dynamic (full): AIDA will make you select the property to be used to enhance the entire e-mail address.
info

The property you choose to use for dynamic address creation must respect the syntax rules of an e-mail address, that is to say username@domain.com.

Recipient's email address

If you chose the option Fixed (user-defined) in the Recipient Address Mode, you will have to manually enter the e-mail address to which the documents are to be sent.

If you have chosen the Dynamic (name only) option, a drop-down menu will appear before the symbol which will be used to select the property AIDA should use to assign a value to the username. After the instead a field will appear where you will have to manually enter the domain of the e-mail which will remain fixed for each username.

If you chose Dynamic (full) instead, a drop-down menu will appear where you can select the property that AIDA should use to assign a value to the entire e-mail address.

Recipient name

In this field you can enter the name of the recipient, which will be used to personalise the initial greeting of the e-mail. If it is left blank, AIDA will not personalise the greeting.

Email subject

You can insert an object of your choice or leave the default one.
