AIDA Link

AIDA Link is the client needed for AIDA to communicate with your local resources.

It is currently only available for Windows and Linux operating systems. To download it, visit the dedicated page.

On this page you can configure:

General options

In the General Options section we find:

Name

It is useful to customise the name in case we need to create several AIDA Link output flow for the same type of document.

Integration key

This key is used to make AIDA communicate with your PC or NAS, and must be inserted during AIDA Link configuration.

This key is essential for the proper functioning of AIDA Link, that's why the key is automatically generated by AIDA.

Module options

AIDA Link can be configured in two ways depending on your needs.

Local Disc

This option is chosen if you want to install AIDA Link directly on your PC.

By going to the module options you can set:

  • Output folder: In this field you must paste the entire path to the folder, for example c:\documenti\cartella AIDA.

  • Output format: Here you can choose whether to receive the document in pdf or to receive the extracted property values in the most common computer formats.

  • Duplicate file name behaviour: You must tell AIDA what to do if it finds a document with the same name.

If you need to receive different formats of the same Document, for example you need both the document in PDF and all the property values extracted in JSON, simply create two or more AIDA Link outputs.

Windows network share (SMB/CIFS)

This option is usually used to communicate with a NAS.

By going to the module options you can set:

  • Remote host name/IP address: In this section it is recommended that you enter the IP address of the NAS, alternatively you can enter the domain name (only the name, not the entire path) under which the NAS is exposed to the network.

  • Share name: Here you must only enter the name of the share you wish to use.

  • Output folder: This parameter is optional. If it is needed, just enter the only folder name created to receive the flow.

  • Username: Enter the username used to access the share.

  • Password: Enter your password here.
